Your students' introduction to Inclusive Access is critical to the program's success. If you include the right info and time it right, they will know what to expect about access, billing, and future communication and trust that they’re getting a fair price for the content. It’s also a great opportunity to credit instructors for saving their students money.
Timing: Send to students several days before the LMS opens for the term.
Welcome to Inclusive Access, Example University Bookstore’s digital course materials program. The program offers eBooks and publisher courseware at a lower price than the bookstore or publisher websites. This term, one or more of your professors is taking part in the program so you can get your required materials at the lowest price.
So what does this mean for you? When [LMS] opens for the [Term] term, you can access your digital materials for a free trial through Example University’s add/drop deadline! You will receive more info from the bookstore a few days before the start of the term to guide you through accessing your materials. We are always available to answer any questions you may have.
After the trial period, the Example U Bookstore will charge your bursar account the exclusive discounted price. If you decide you do not want the materials through Inclusive Access, you can opt out of the program through a link in [LMS]. As long as you opt out by [Opt-out Deadline Date], your bursar account will not be charged.
