Inclusive Access is not a free program, but it's available at the lowest possible cost. Here are some of the logistics:
When will I be charged?
It varies by school. Most Inclusive Access models bill your account after the trial period. Your school will charge you unless you opt-out before the add/drop deadline passes. Other schools bill your student account at registration and then provide a refund if you opt-out before the deadline. Your school will share the details with you when the course begins and again around that add/drop date.
How much will I be charged?
I’m a professor/TA - how do I avoid being charged?
We agree that you shouldn’t have to pay for the materials you’re teaching! Our system notes that you're a TA or professor and marks your account as non-billable. (The system also removes the opt-out button). If you get an email saying you’ll be billed unless you opt-out, you can ignore it - you receive those emails as part of the class-wide notification. If you end up with a charge on your account, please let us know and we’ll take care of it!
