How do I submit an adoption?
If you received an email titled “It’s Time To Adopt”, click the “No” button to indicate you have no materials to adopt, or “Yes” to be taken to the Adopt dashboard.
From there, click the card representing the course for which you want to submit adoptions. You can then search for known materials by ISBN, name, publisher, author, etc., and select the appropriate material. Confirm the information and make adjustments/notes as needed. You can also enter information manually by clicking the “Add Material” button. Do this for as many materials as you need to submit.
Alternatively, if the information is available, you can click the “load previous materials” button to pre-populate the information with the adoptions you submitted in the previous term.
What do I do if the search bar doesn’t return a result for the material I want to adopt?
The search bar populates items from the national ISBN database, not including any custom or professor-specific copies. Click the “Manually Add” button to enter the appropriate information manually.

Check this box if the section for which you're submitting materials is part of an Inclusive Access or "Day One" Access program. Contact your materials manager for more information.

To add a material, search for the information in the search bar or click “Add Material” to enter the information manually.
