Follow the step-by-step instructions below to place the RedShelf LTI tool in your course shell in Moodle. You may also view the video below for a demonstration.
- Go to your course shell
- Click the gear in the upper-right corner, and click the down arrow
- Turn editing on
- Click "Add an activity or resource"
- Click External tool
- Click Add
- Add an Activity Name
- Select "RedShelf Link" under "Preconfigured tool"
- Select Save and Return to Course
- Click the gear in the upper-right corner, and click the down arrow
- Turn editing off
NOTE: You will get an error if you try to access the RedShelf tool in student view. However, the student experience is almost identical to professor or TA experience. The only difference is that students see an option to opt-out if opting is enabled via RedShelf.
