How your students access their RedShelf eBooks:
In-Store Purchase
- Students purchase their RedShelf eBook from the bookstore
- A unique redemption code is provided on the purchase receipt
Note: If the receipt doesn’t include the access code, the bookstore should:
- Verify the pricing + SKU by emailing bookstorehelp@redshelf.com
- Verify the product adoption
- Re-process the transaction
- Open a ticket with Sequoia's Support Team
Online / "ePOS" Purchase
- Students purchase the title via ePOS
- Students receive an email with a redemption code as well as see it on the checkout screen
- Students navigate to the bookstore’s RedShelf whitelabel site to log in or create an account
- If students don't know their RedShelf password, they can reset it by clicking 'Forgot Password?' on the login screen
- Once logged in, students navigate to their RedShelf 'My Shelf'
- Remember: 'My Shelf' is in the drop-down menu in the top right corner when the user is logged in
- Students click "Redeem an Access Code" and successfully redeem their access code
- If code is 'invalid', check that:
- The student is logged in
- The student did not redeem the code on another account
- The student isn't mistyping the code or entering it into the 'coupon code' area
