How do I filter the list of courses?
You can filter the list of courses by either typing criteria in the search bar (based on department, course, or instructor email), or filtering from the dropdown menus in the upper right corner.
How do I change the view on the list of courses?
Click the “Group By” dropdown menu and choose whether you want to view all sections individually (“ungrouped”), grouped together by course, or grouped by course and submitter.
What do the statuses mean?
- Open: No materials have been submitted by the instructor for this section
- In Review: Materials have been submitted by the instructor and are waiting for approval by the reviewer
- Submitted: Materials have been submitted (or approved by the reviewer if applicable) and are ready for your final review
- Accepted: You have accepted the materials submission and no other action is needed
How can I export information?
Click the “Export Sections” button on the dashboard to download a CSV file of the adoption information. Note that if you have filtered the list of courses, this action will only export those specific sections. To export all information, make sure there are no active filters on the dashboard.
How can I send an email to submitters?
Click the “Bulk Email” button on the dashboard, then choose whether you want to send a custom email or a standard “It’s Time to Adopt” email. Note that if you have filtered the list of courses, this action will only export those specific sections.
The "It's Time to Adopt" email contains a list of the sections with which that submitter is associated, and a link for them to submit adoptions for those sections directly. The custom email allows you to send any text-based message and include an image, but does not contain the adoption submission link.
Can I also send an email to reviewers?
Currently, emails are only sent to submitters.
How do I know if the emails were successful?
In the future, we will add more information on email history, including whether or not they were sent successfully.
