How do I review adoptions?
From the dashboard, click into a course card and then the “Sections Adopted” tab to review the adoptions for that particular course. Filtering to a status of “submitted” will help you narrow down the list to courses where it’s time for you to review the adoption.
If the materials list looks good, click “Accept Adoption” to complete the process. If something doesn’t look correct and you want the submitter to re-submit information, click “Re-open Adoption” - you’ll be prompted to enter a note to send back to the submitter.
Note that as a store manager, you’ll have permission to submit materials and review adoptions for any section on behalf of the user who was assigned to it.
Can I edit an adoption before accepting it?
To edit material information or to add/remove materials from an adoption, first click the “Edit” button, then take the appropriate action before clicking “Save Changes”.
To add a material, search for the information in the search bar or click “Add Material” to enter the information manually.
To delete a material, click the trash can icon on the appropriate line. To edit a particular material’s information, click the pencil icon.
Can I edit an adoption after accepting it?
Currently you cannot edit information after you have accepted it.
Can I contact a specific instructor or reviewer about a particular adoption?
You can send a custom email to the submitter of a particular adoption by filtering the list of courses on the dashboard to the one in question and clicking “Bulk Email”.
Can I see the history of an adoption?
In the future, we will add more information on the history of an adoption, including who took what action.
