***Quick Disclaimer for iPad/iPhone users:
In order to use the updated version of our Offline Access, you must have the latest iOS update. If your device is not updated, the Offline Access will not work. That being said, if you are reading this, please make sure your device is updated!
***Another Quick Disclaimer for Firefox users:
In your setting, please uncheck this option in Firefox: "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed." This comes checked by default and disables RedShelf's Offline Feature in our eReader!
Now, if your eBook has an offline access allowance, you can save a part of your book in your browser's cache. This enables you to read your eBook when you don't have an internet connection.
Checking Your eBook’s Offline Access Allowance
Not all publishers include an offline access allowance for all books. To help, RedShelf notifies you if your eBook has offline capabilities.

If you don’t see the Offline icon, the publisher does not offer offline access for the particular title.
Activating an Offline Session
You must have an Internet connection while activating Offline mode. The content downloads to your browser cache. From there, you can then access your content through the unique link without a network. Clearing your browser cache may disrupt your Offline Access.
Once you have determined your book’s offline allowance, you can create an offline session. Open the Sidebar Menu (four horizontal bars) and select Offline to begin.
Choose the start and end points of the section you’d like to take offline under the Start and End headers.
Choose which page ranges you want to access offline and then select Download to begin downloading your selection.
After the download is complete, all you have to do is bookmark the page you're on. Then when you're offline, that page you bookmarked should allow you to navigate the pages you downloaded for Offline access!
You can end your offline session at any time. Navigate to the Offline menu and select Clear Session. After that, you can activate a new offline session!
